Is FOX News changing sides?

The reason that obama will get re-elected is not because of his job performance, but because the Republicans can't get their ducks in a row. The party is split between the old guard/RINO's and the more educated up and comers/Teaparty. However, with that said, he will be working as clinton did with a Republican House and Senate. Until the Republicans smell the coffee and read the writing on the wall, I have little faith or support for either. 

 The Polls out there can be skewed anyway they want you to see them and even FOX gets caught up in it but for the very reason I have given above. Here is a slam against them to keep things fair and balanced;

Fox News gets accused by the far to the socialist left in the United States for being too far to the right; but perhaps sometimes, especially of late, and long since Rupert Murdoch has climbed into bed with the Saudis, it definitely appears that the once staunch conservative network is scratching backs at the other end.

On Friday, May 20, 2011, a story on FoxNews.com by Dana Blanton titled, “Fox News Poll:  Voters Say Country in Worse Shape, Still Expect Obama Will Prevail in 2012” made a lot of heads turn saying, “Huh?” 

It seems to me that the only ones who are not affected by the outrageous conditions and actions of this Administration are those who are so indebted to Obama for his giveaway programs that their support is an automatic given. This bloc represents about one fourth of our voting population; mainly blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, welfare rolls, non-educated, and dichotomously, the academia pinheads along with a sprinkling of seniors.

Large numbers of individuals in these cliques could see their Obama giveaways dissipate should politics swing in an opposite direction.

Many of these dependents on the largesse of the Administration are at risk of becoming too closely identified with Obama and his profligacy with taxpayers’ dollars and could be on the short end of things should a massive reversal of political fortunes occur at any given time. 

Enormous numbers of voters are taxpayers who have begun to feel the sting of Obama’s costly programs through increased taxes or cuts in areas that his Administration has pared back in services.  With this in mind it is why I wonder if the FoxNews.com poll may have been heavily concentrated in the Detroit or Washington, DC area where the numbers of Obama supporters are draconian and extreme, to use two descriptive words oh so familiar to liberal Democrats. 

If a poll was conducted with an aim of tilting it in a certain direction there are different ways of doing the canvassing for opinion votes.  To get a favorable opinion vote for a particular individual, greater emphasis would be made in areas where that particularindividual was overly popular and favored.  Conversely, the opposite results would occur if the poll was conducted in these same areas should his opponent be the subject of the polling.

And there are other ways of “fudging” polls to make a certain point, mainly in the art of language deflection or favorably using certain flattering word descriptions in the pollquestion or interrogation; or confusing the subject matter of the question to where it is too difficult to intelligently respond.

But with all the negatives that Obama has created with his performances primarily in foreign lands where he has decried and denigrated the country that made him aninstant rags to riches millionaire, while lauding radical Islam and its people who provide and represent the greatest source of militant enemies to our people, how could any true American honestly vote to return this man to the office of the presidency?

And the still not definitely answered question of his eligibility to even hold that office is a detriment that should give any intellectually minded person second thoughts for such an important position.  His constant actions and words reflect an undermining of our positions in world affairs along with surrendering many of our rights to the corrupt and greedy United Nations, who overwhelmingly out vote us in that chamber.

His cavalier and often denigrating treatment to some of our most loyal and persevering foreign nation friends such as Israel and Great Britain only help to cause strained and restive relations with these steadfast partners.

Obama jokes about the efforts of what his people sneeringly call the “birthers”, a title meant to imply a laughable and derisive element to honest seekers of the truth of his heavily secretive and secluded personal facts and data all under deep seated lock and key and covered by millions of dollars to remain that way. 

JUST WHAT ARE YOU AFRAID OF AND HIDING, MR. OBAMA?  WHY CAN’T YOU BE OPEN AND HONEST INSTEAD OF STEALTHILY PILING ON OBSTACLES TO SECUREYOUR DIRTY SECRETS?

This FoxNews.com poll commented on by Dana Blanton is among early signs of Fox News’ slippage to the left and support for Obama.  Ms. Blanton herself leads her coverage with an oxymoronic note saying, “Despite a majority believing the country is in worse shape than it was four years ago, American voters—by a wide margin—think President Barack Obama will be re-elected in 2012”

Pardon me for my cynicism, but I rather doubt that with a majority believing the country is in worse shape than four years ago would vote to re-elect the culprit most responsible for that condition.  I just flat out reject that notion.  We do have a lot of stupid people in this country; that was proven in 2008 when 70 million voted for Obama; but surely, at least HALF of those have come to realize that we are in suicide mode by thinking Obama reelection in 2012.

I just conducted a poll of one and it stated: “No Obama in 2012.”

In December of 2008 the Democrats were on the rise. In the last two election cycles they had picked up 14 senate seats and 52 house seats. The press was touting the death of the Conservative Movement and the Republican Party.
In one year Obama put a stop to all of this and will probably give the house, if not the senate back to the Republicans.

Fifty-Three Percent of Americans Now Disapprove of Obama's Handling of Health-Care Issue, Says Gallup Poll!

(AP Photo/Cliff Owen)(CNSNews.com) – A majority of Americans--53 percent--now disapprove of the way President Obama is handling the health care issue, and 49 percent want their members of Congress to vote ‘no’ on Obama’s government-led restructuring of the health-care system, according to a Gallup poll.


 The report, released Monday, shows that only self-identified Democrats support the plan, with strong majorities of both Republicans and Independents opposing the president.


 Gallup initially asked respondents which way they wanted their representatives to vote on health care reform. Forty-two percent said their congressman should vote "no" while only 35 percent said their congressman should vote in favor of the bill. Another 22 percent were undecided.


 When those undecided respondents were pressed to say whether they "leaned" towards either a ‘yes’ or a ‘no’ vote, the gap between support and opposition tightened--with 49 percent saying they either leaned toward or desired a ‘no’ vote from Congress, while 44 percent said they either leaned toward or wanted a ‘yes’ vote on health reform.


 The poll comes on the heels of a narrow Obama victory in the House, where Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) barely pushed through her version of the reform with only two votes to spare 220-215--218 votes were needed for passage. That victory did not move public opinion toward favoring the bill, Gallup found, as public support for the measure continued to decline.


 The results were based on a Nov. 20-22 USA Today/Gallup poll, and are essentially unchanged from a poll conducted earlier this month, Gallup reported.


 Those declining fortunes are bipartisan, as support for Obama’s health reform has declined steadily since early October, the last time Gallup found that a majority of Americans – 51 percent – supported it.


 Support among all three party groups has declined since the early October high -- falling by 6 points among Democrats, 8 among independents, and 12 among Republicans.


 More than three-quarters (76 percent) of Democrats – the only group that still supports health reform – want Congress to pass a bill. Independents and Republicans both oppose the plan by strong margins. Among Republicans, 86 percent said they would advise their representatives to vote against the bill, along with 53 percent of Independents. Only 37 percent of Independents want their members of Congress to support a reform bill, with 16 percent undecided.


Obama Losing Support on Health Care


 A majority of Americans also disapprove of the way President Obama is handling the health care issue, providing further evidence of eroding support for the president and his primary policy goal and suggesting that his vaunted charisma may not be enough to sell the public on the lynchpin of his domestic agenda.


 Fifty-three (53) percent of the public disapproves of Obama’s handling of the health-care issue, while only 40 percent approve – down from a mid-summer high of 44 percent approval. Opposition has grown over that time, climbing four percent between mid-August and late-November.


“This is slightly more negative than what Gallup found from July through September, and represents his worst review to date on this issue,” the poll concluded.
 Though Democrats are the only group still supporting Obama on the health-care issue, even their support has fallen and fewer Democrats support Obama on health care than support him on other policy issues.


 Seventy-four (74) percent of Democrats approve of Obama's handling of the issue, but this is below the better-than 80 percent of Democrats who approve of the job Obama is doing as president overall.


 Republicans and Independents, meanwhile, both overwhelmingly oppose the president, with independents opposing Obama by nearly 2 to 1.

 GOP members are nearly unanimous in their views of Obama's work on health care, with 89 percent disapproving and 6 percent approving. Independents are nearly twice as likely to disapprove (58 percent) as to approve (33 percent.)” According to Gallup, the poll has never found a “strong public mandate” in favor of health reform since it began polling on the issue. The highest support it has ever found was 51 percent in October, a number which has fallen steadily since!
