The actual LAWS broken by E. Holder & the DOJ-ATF

The reason many people are just fed up with the way everyone from Bankers to Congress, the Senate and higher is that there is NEVER any consequences for their actions. Anyone of us in the private sector would be in jail for breaking the laws these very same politicians write, yet seem to be immune from themselves. They are LITERALLY above the very laws they use to keep US in order. From insider trading to Tax evasion and everything in between.

I am going to show you a letter from a retired congressman [James R Lightfoot Member of Congress, ret. (1984 – 1996)] to Presidential Candidate Hon. Thaddeus McCotter that explains some of what has and is going wrong and the LAWS that have been broken. You can then come to your OWN conclusions on whether some of them should go to jail over this so called "Fast & Furious" gun running debacle that has directly cost the lives of at least 2 dedicated Americans doing their job in protecting this country!

My Blog is titled the things your Government DOESN'T want you to know and this is the epitome of what I am talking about as you will NOT see this in ANY media, including FOX News. With that being said, please read the following in its unabridged entirety, and let me know what YOUR thoughts on it are:

Hon. Thaddeus McCotter
2243 Rayburn HOB
Washington, DC 20515

Congressman McCotter:
I am writing to you as a private citizen and a resident of Texas. My background includes being a police office, broadcaster, business owner and Member of Congress.

Three times I have raised my right hand and taken an oath to protect and uphold our Constitution and country; once in the Army, once at the Tulsa Police Academy and once on the floor of the US House of Representatives. Today, I am standing up once again, however, I need your help.

You have called for the resignation of Attorney General Eric Holder. I applaud you for your stand, however, I would like to see you take it one step further.
Please find attached (below) some of the laws that have been broken by Fast and Furious.

Please encourage Congressman Issa and Senator Grassley to not give up when they find a few of the culpable, rather they must push forward with the power of the committee and the US Congress to uncover all that is amiss in this entire operation.
I had the privilege to serve as ranking member and then Chairman of the old Treasury, Postal and General Government (TPS) sub-committee on Appropriations. Rebuilding ATF after Waco came under my watch. I have continued to be associated with law enforcement and ATF since leaving Congress and I can assure you that agency is badly broken.

The level of retaliation and harassment that is fostered upon good agents in the field is a disgrace and in many cases unlawful. However, a good-old-boy system that includes the lawyers at ATF continue the mistreatment, the law suits and general harassment of agents that want to do their jobs by the book, be honest and put bad guys in jail.
Many good agents have already left ATF and others are ready to go.

Recently, I had the honor to attend a memorial for murdered Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry. It was a humbling experience, but offered an opportunity to talk at length with Border Patrol Agents, ATF Agents and local law enforcement. They are living in a war zone and I came away with the determination to try and do something to make things better for them. They certainly are not getting the support and help they need from our DOJ. They cannot speak up for fear of retaliation.
I can.

Congressman, you are in a position to right the wrongs that the whistleblowers and other goods agents have had to suffer. I urge you to please work for a Special Counsel or whatever it takes to get the evidence dug out of ATF, DOJ, DEA, FBI and any other bad player involved with the disgrace and travesty we are now witnessing.

Tuesday Roll Call is scheduled to print an op-ed I wrote asking for the indictment of Eric Holder, William Newell, William McMahon and anyone else that has played a role in the execution of Fast and Furious.
As a former soldier, police officer, Member of Congress and now a private citizen I urge you to continue your interest in bringing justice to those adversely effected by Fast and Furious and would support your efforts to seek indictment in any way I can.
Respectfully,

Member of Congress (ret)
James R Lightfoot
Member of Congress, ret.
(1984 – 1996)

Potential unlawful acts by ATF Agents related to Operation Fast and Furious

Keep in mind, NONE of this relates to potential STATE violations, such as negligent homicide, or some other reckless conduct statutes. Even if the Feds stepped in and snatched the state prosecutions into federal court as the law allows, they would still have to prosecute or answer why not.
Items in blue are referenced to the observation in red at the end of each paragraph.

18 U.S.C. § 922 : US Code - Section 922: Unlawful acts

(a) It shall be unlawful -
(1) for any person -
(A) except a licensed importer, licensed manufacturer, or
licensed dealer, to engage in the business of importing,
manufacturing, or dealing in firearms, or in the course of such
business to ship, transport, or receive any firearm in
interstate or foreign commerce; or

ATF and DOJ Attorneys clearly were engaged or conspiring to engage in the business
(B) except a licensed importer or licensed manufacturer, to
engage in the business of importing or manufacturing
ammunition, or in the course of such business, to ship,
transport, or receive any ammunition in interstate or foreign
commerce;

ATF and DOJ Attorneys ordered and directed this as well
(6) for any person in connection with the acquisition or
attempted acquisition of any firearm or ammunition from a
licensed importer, licensed manufacturer, licensed dealer, or
licensed collector, knowingly to make any false or fictitious
oral or written statement or to furnish or exhibit any false,
fictitious, or misrepresented identification
, intended or likely
to deceive such importer, manufacturer, dealer, or collector with
respect to any fact material to the lawfulness of the sale or
other disposition of such firearm or ammunition under the
provisions of this chapter;

ATF Bosses, Agents and DOJ Attorneys did exactly this on multiple occasions. In order for some cop exemption to apply, They had to reasonably intend to disrupt and stop criminal activity. IE give some sample drugs to a kingpin to set him up for a large reverse. You cannot constantly provide an unending supply of drugs and just say “hey, we are working toward an arrest someday.”
(2) any firearm to any person in any State where the purchase
or possession by such person of such firearm would be in
violation of any State law or any published ordinance applicable
at the place of sale, delivery or other disposition, unless the
licensee knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the
purchase or possession would not be in violation of such State
law or such published ordinance;

Mexico is a state and this WAS in violation of published Mexican law or ordinance. ATF and DOJ Attorneys directed and conspired this to happen.

(h) It shall be unlawful for any individual,  who to that individual’s knowledge and while being employed for any person described in any paragraph of subsection (g) of this section, in the course of such employment -
(1) to receive, possess, or transport any firearm or ammunition
in or affecting interstate or foreign commerce; or
(2) to receive any firearm or ammunition which has been shipped or transported in interstate or foreign commerce.

Illegal aliens, illegal users of narcotics and felons were employing these straw purchasers and ATF and DOJ attorneys DID conspire to violate this “the bodyguard” statute to be violated.
(m) It shall be unlawful for any licensed importer, licensed manufacturer, licensed dealer, or licensed collector knowingly to make any false entry in, to fail to make appropriate entry in, orto fail to properly maintain, any record which he is required to keep pursuant to section 923 of this chapter or regulations promulgated thereunder.

Occurred with each and every straw purchase, directed, facilitated or allowed by ATF and DOJ Attorneys. There are emails telling the FFL it is ok to break the law.
18 U.S.C. 371, CONSPIRACY
outlaws conspiracy to commit any other federal crime. The others outlaw conspiracy to commit some specific form of misconduct, ranging from civil rights violations to drug trafficking.7 Conspiracy is a separate offense under most of these statutes,8 regardless of whether conspiracy accomplishes its objective.9 every conspiracy has at least two elements: (1) an agreement (2)  between two or more persons. Members of the conspiracy are also liable for the foreseeable crimes of their fellows committed in furtherance of the common plot.

There are no one-man conspiracies.31
Conviction under 18 U.S.C. 371 for conspiracy to commit a substantive offense requires proof
that one of the conspirators committed an overt act in furtherance of the conspiracy.

You can commit a conspiracy with an unindicted co-conspirator. It appears this is the one that will kill them in relation to very act the cartel/straw purchasers committed, including murder. In order to avoid this, they have to admit they are acting under color of law for ANY Law Enforcement protections. SEE ABOVE, the problem with that is that acting under color of law requires you are within the scope of your duties and advancing legitimate law enforcement actions.
The elements of conspiracy to defraud the United States under 18 U.S.C. 371 are (1) an agreement of two or more persons; (2) to defraud the United States; and (3) an overt act in furtherance of the conspiracy committed by one of the conspirators.65 The “fraud covered by the statute reaches any conspiracy for the purpose of impairing, obstructing or defeating the lawful functions of any department of the Government” by ” deceit, craft or trickery, or at least by means that are dishonest.“67 The plot must be directed against the United States or some federal entity; a scheme to defraud the recipient of federal funds is not sufficient. The scheme may be designed to deprive the United States of money or property, but it need not be so; a plot calculated to frustrate the functions of an entity of the United States will suffice.

Based on overt direction by ATF and DOJ Attorneys the above should be a slam dunk. You’ll notice this is a willful NOT a knowing act. In other words, they meant to do it. They didn’t need to know all the ins and outs.

Mail and wire fraud is a federal crime in the United States. Together, 18 U.S.C. §§1341, 1343, and 1346 reach any fraudulent scheme or artifice to intentionally deprive another of property or honest services with a nexus to mail or wire communication.
18 U.S.C.§ 1341provides:

Whoever, having devised or intending to devise any scheme or artifice to defraud, or for obtaining money or property by means of false or fraudulent pretenses, representations, or promises, or to sell, dispose of, loan, exchange, alter, give away, distribute, supply, or furnish or procure for unlawful use any counterfeit or spurious coin, obligation, security, or other article, or anything represented to be or intimated or held out to be such counterfeit or spurious article, for the purpose of executing such scheme or artifice or attempting so to do, places in any post office or authorized depository for mail matter, any matter or thing whatever to be sent or delivered by the Postal Service, or deposits or causes to be deposited any matter or thing whatever to be sent or delivered by any private or commercial interstate carrier, or takes or receives therefrom, any such matter or thing, or knowingly causes to be delivered by mail or such carrier according to the direction thereon, or at the place at which it is directed to be delivered by the person to whom it is addressed, any such matter or thing, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.

If the violation occurs in relation to, or involving any benefit authorized, transported, transmitted, transferred, disbursed, or paid in connection with, a presidentially declared major disaster or emergency (as those terms are defined in section 102 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 5122)), or affects a financial institution, such person shall be fined not more than $1,000,000 or imprisoned not more than 30 years, or both.[2]

All Federal funding used in any case has been reported, transferred, accounted for through the U S Mail at some point. Clearly whatever was stated by the agents, bosses or U S Attorney justifying the expenditures was fraudulent.

Wire

18 U.S.C. §1343 provides:
Whoever, having devised or intending to devise any scheme or artifice to defraud, or for obtaining money or property by means of false or fraudulent pretenses, representations, or promises, transmits or causes to be transmitted by means of wire, radio, or television communication in interstate or foreign commerce, any writings, signs, signals, pictures, or sounds for the purpose of executing such scheme or artifice, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both. If the violation affects a financial institution, such person shall be fined not more than $1,000,000 or imprisoned not more than 30 years, or both.[3]

Huge wire fraud implications resulting from EVERY email, fax, Teletype that occurred with the intent to mislead the true actions of Fast and Furious.
42 U.S.C.§ 1983 now reads:[3]
Every person who under color of any statute, ordinance, regulation, custom, or usage, of any State or Territory or the District of Columbia, subjects, or causes to be subjected, any citizen of the United States or other person within the jurisdiction thereof to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured by the Constitution and laws, shall be liable to the party injured in an action at law, Suit in equity, or other proper proceeding for redress, except that in any action brought against a judicial officer for an act or omission taken in such officer’s judicial capacity, injunctive relief shall not be granted unless a declaratory decree was violated or declaratory relief was unavailable. For the purposes of this section, any Act of Congress applicable exclusively to the District of Columbia shall be considered to be a statute of the District of Columbia.

To be clear, Brian Terry, Jaime Zapata and every other cop and civilian harmed by a Fast and Furious gun has been deprived of their constitutional civil rights at the hands of ATF and DOJ Attorneys under the color of law. Example: An agent walks high-grade heroin with no safe guards, and no specific greater law enforcement future good that he/she can articulate, and someone’s kid overdoses because of it, BINGO, same deal as Fast and Furious.

The Supreme Court has interpreted the United States Constitution to construct laws regulating the actions of the law enforcement community. Under “color of law”, it is a crime for one or more persons using power given to him or her by a governmental agency (local, state or federal), to willfully deprive or conspire to deprive another person of any right protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States. Enforcement of “color of law” does not require that any racial, religious, or other discriminatory motive existed. Criminal acts under color of law include acts within and beyond the bounds or limits of lawful authority.

Remember the movie "Minority Report" ? Its here

Well if you think that the book "1984" was scary, then you saw "Minority Report" it made the previous look like a boy scouts handbook! Well it is here now, not like the movie that takes place in 2054! Read this:

Your Smartphone Can See You

The movie Minority Report depicts a world where a widespread facial recognition network tracks your day-to-day movements in public spaces.
Imagine individual cameras instantly scanning your face next time you take a casual stroll down the street.
Once the facial recognition software confirms your identity, it examines your personal and financial profile. It uses the information to tailor the advertisements you may hear the next time you enter a department store.
It can also identify your location for law enforcement purposes. As in the film, if an elite "pre-crime" police unit concludes that you're about to commit a murder, you'll be arrested, detained, and eventually placed into suspended animation - forever.
Minority Report was set in 2054. When I saw the movie, that date was far enough away to make me believe I wasn't likely to witness the events it depicted in my lifetime.
I was wrong.
Minority Report is here, today. But instead of a network of fixed cameras, every person carrying a smartphone with the appropriate application will be able to identify you through face recognition software.
Here's what could pop up next...
No, this isn't science fiction.
Researchers at Carnegie Mellon University recently photographed 93 students with a smart-phone - all of whom had Facebook profiles - entering a building. The software then compared those images with a database of Facebook photos of people on the CMU network.
One out of three people in the study was successfully matched to the Facebook photos, and for about one-fourth of the students, researchers retrieved their date and place of birth, along with fragments of their Social Security numbers.

This is Just the Beginning...

Face recognition technology is rapidly improving. Eventually, showing your face in public could mean that anyone you encounter can learn enough information to steal your identity simply by snapping a photo with a smartphone.
If you voluntarily post information on the Internet, available for anyone to retrieve, can those who do so make it available to others? The courts have ruled there is no "expectation of privacy" in such information, so I see no reason why they couldn't.
I'm not aware of any commercial application combining face recognition with online photos and databases. However, police are already using similar applications.
Meet "MORIS," the Mobile Offender Recognition and Information System. MORIS is a handheld face recognition device that plugs into a smart phone. Law-enforcement agencies across the U.S. have ordered 1,000 MORIS units, scheduled for delivery this month.
If a cop wants to find out who you are, he just snaps a picture with his smartphone. He then searches a database to learn if you have a criminal record. MORIS can also take your fingerprints, and match them to criminal history records.
The manufacturer of MORIS, BI2 Technologies, urges police not to use the face recognition feature without reasonable suspicion of criminal activity. But if you're in a public place, the courts have concluded that you have a greatly reduced expectation of privacy. Just anyone with a camera, including a cop, can legally take your picture in a public space.
(The reverse, however, is definitely NOT true. If you photograph - or especially, record the voice - of a cop or any other public official, you might be arrested. Indeed, an Illinois man who recently recorded his interactions with a judge in an open court hearing now faces life in prison.)

How Can You Protect Yourself?

Short of never leaving your home, or living in a sparsely-populated rural setting, it will be impossible to avoid the Minority Report world completely. But, there are some steps you can take to lower your vulnerability:
* Delete your photos from social networking sites, dating sites, and especially Facebook. If you're unwilling to delete your photos, make sure to mark your profile as "private."
* Don't post photos of your friends or family members online. Not only does this jeopardize their privacy, it also helps marketers and investigators construct a social network of those with whom you interact.
* To minimize the amount of information about you available online, consider a service such as Reputation.com to remove personal information from websites that market it.
* Always use a post office box or a mail receiving service to send and receive mail and packages—never your home address. Even something as innocent as ordering a pizza delivered to your home address can result in that information recorded in an online database.
* If you have a website, copyright all information you post on it. That way, anyone using that information for any purpose beyond what copyright law defines as "fair use" may be subject to legal sanctions.
What about wearing a hat and dark glasses? That may work for now, but eventually face recognition software will evolve into body recognition and even gait software. Even if you've disguised yourself as George W. Bush and wear a big sombrero as you walk down the street, your body shape and unique walking pattern will eventually reveal your identity.
It’s a brave new world, folks...

Should Software Companies be able to Raid Your House?

Well if you are still dumb enough to go along with the adage "with Liberty and Freedom for all" you ARE an idiot! We are so far down the list of countries that have free'r  societies than ours its time to change our anthems! obama is implementing 10 new regulations A DAY on us.  So far he has put in 112 major regulations at a cost of $100 MILLION each, not including the damage they have done to our markets and business'! Every time a new law comes into play it is taking MORE of your rights away! We are in a police state with an undeclared "Marshall Law" started by Bush but increased 10 fold since 2008! Now a self appointed group of thugs are now allowed to come into your home or office if they even THINK you don't have receipts for all your software! You had better read this:

Businesses have long lived with the possibility that their offices could be entered and searched for evidence that they’re using pirated software - not just by government law enforcement agents, but by a trade group called the Business Software Alliance, which represents the major software and hardware companies such as Microsoft, Apple, Adobe, Intuit, Symantec, Corel, McAfee, Dell, Intel and several more.

The BSA’s heavy-handed tactics have come under fire many times over the years, with accusations that the organization bullies small companies that lose the paperwork proving their legitimate ownership of software licenses and much criticism of the BSA’s offering of "rewards" to disgruntled employees who report their employers’ non-compliance. There are even attorneys that specialize in defending companies against BSA audits.

That’s bad enough, but it appears you don’t even have to be in business to get raided by a tech company, and you don’t have to be suspected of pirating software, either. It’s hard to believe this really happened in the U.S.A. "Apple Investigators" have done it again - searching the home of a man in San Francisco to look for a lost iPhone prototype. Oh, and they were apparently assisted by the local police (although there have been conflicting statements on that).
http://www.cnn.com/2011/TECH/mobile/09/02/iphone.5.prototype/index.html

Say what? Was this guy suspected of breaking into Apple headquarters and stealing the iPhone? Nope - an Apple employee left in a neighborhood bar. At the most, the guy found abandoned property and picked it up. Has Apple never heard of "finders keepers, losers weepers?" Of course, we don’t know if he ever had it at all, since the Apple employees who searched the house didn’t find anything. They also refused to file a formal report.
It’s not clear whether this fellow gave his consent, but the same thing happened last month to someone else, who did consent - thinking all the searchers were police officers. He said if he’d known they were from Apple, he wouldn't have agreed to the search. I don’t know about you, but I think this is downright scary. We already know the big software companies are capable of entering our computers and seeing what we have on our hard drives. But now they’re allowed to physically come into our homes and look around, too? Am I making a big deal out of nothing, or is this over the line? Let me know what you think in the Comments section

Signs of losing your freedom

Well today I am harping on the freedoms or lack of them in the USA. We are treated like kids here. You can't go to the beach with your sweetheart, spread out a blanket, have a picnic with a bottle of wine. You can't drive or walk anywhere without cameras following you. You can't start a lemonade stand or have a bake sale without going thru a myriad of bureaucratic red tape, pay for permits and licences, make sure your signs aren't too big or too small and have insurance so you don't poison anyone. You can't even feed the homeless in case they sue you. I actually have a ticket for feeding the homeless.

As you can see, there are a few affiliated companies that I work with that have also stopped doing business in California. On top of all this they want to tax you for the privilege of keeping you in line. I now have a letter, followed by a phone call that I have to take Amazon of my website because of CA. tax laws and its only going to get worse. Here is what they sent me yesterday

After a hard days work, I decided to relax and play some poker. I hit the icon on my desktop and this is what came up! For those of you that think big sister isn't telling you what you can and can't see on the internet, that they aren't censoring everything from gaming sites to blogs like mine, I don't know how much more proof you need!

I did what the top picture said, went to the Pokerstars website and as you can see, it has been seized by the FBI and DOJ because we are not mature enough in the obama gov's. eyes to play a game this country was built around.

So I went to Fulltilt Poker another WORLDWIDE site and got this! So now everyone in the world is allowed to play except anyone living in the so called "freest country on earth" what a bloody joke! There is nothing free about the USA anymore without some kind of penalty and it is only going to get worse. Both parties here are guilty, but it turns out the dems are MUCH worse. The only people obtaining new freedoms at our expense are mexicans and muslims! If you are white, speak English and have an education you are frowned upon, are a racist, greedy and discriminated against with impunity by our own government. Someone please tell me why we are still free?

You’re Being Watched…

Creepy, but true... maybe you can use this to your advantage!
Every time you go shopping, surf the Internet, or share an online news story with a friend, someone is watching.

In fact, there is an enormous, multibillion-dollar industry based on collecting personal data.
What books you buy...
What search terms you type into Google...
Even what charities you donate to.
It’s called “data mining.”
Retailers like Wal-Mart and Target use this technique to analyze local buying patterns.
Websites like Amazon and Netflix “data mine” your purchase and movie rental history in order to recommend products or films you might enjoy.
And the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is constantly “data mining” blogs, forums and wi-fi networks to identify terrorist “chatter.”
It’s a little creepy.
But it’s perfectly legal...
And what most people don’t know is, Wall Street banks and hedge funds are doing the same thing.
Now, individual investors can use this strategy to time the market.
Let me explain.

Twitter Predicts the Market?

Last year, a former U.S. Government Scientist named Johan Bollen published an eye-opening study called “Twitter mood predicts the stock market.”
In short, he analyzed the daily content of millions of online data feeds by using a pair of mood tracking tools.
And he found that by tracking American “mood states,” he could predict whether the stock market would rise or fall, with 87% accuracy - up to four days in advance.
Needless to say, this discovery caught Wall Street off-guard.
And now, some very powerful interests are scrambling to make it their own:
One former Goldman Sachs insider has funneled over $30 million into this “data mining” phenomenon.
Google and the CIA have invested millions of dollars together and now claim they’re using this technology to predict the future.
And U.K.-based Derwent Capital launched a $40 million computerized hedge fund to exploit the discovery. But they received so many investor phone calls, they’ve been forced to open a waiting list.
Over the past 12 months, I’ve been experimenting with a similar “data mining” strategy to win or breakeven on seven out of every 10 trades - without violating anyone’s privacy.
Instead of stocks, I’ve targeted the $4 trillion forex market. I’m using conservative leverage that gives me the ability to earn 10 to 20 times more than I ever could buy on the S&P 500.
Truth is, most traders don’t bother with currencies. But it’s simple to track the trend of any major or exotic currency and pounce when the moment is right.
Here’s how...
I’ve developed a basic, two-step strategy to minimize risk and maximize returns in the forex market.
The first part smoothes out the crazy gyrations so you can tell where the price of a currency is heading - higher or lower.
The second part - what I call “data mining” the forex market - can tip you off to a major breakout point.
It starts with knowing the direction of the trend...

Tip #1: Don’t Trade Against the Trend

One of the best ways to determine the overall trend is, drop a 50-period simple moving average on a currency pair’s daily chart. Check out an example of this below:
If the trend line is pointing down, you know that you have a better shot of playing against this currency pair. If the trend line is pointing up, you will have better odds if you go long.
Do this and you will gain a significant edge over other traders who waste time and money fighting the trend.

Tip #2: “Data Mine” the Market to Know
What the Masses Will Buy or Sell Next

Most people think it’s impossible to know when an established trend will reverse course. For good reason. Few traders (outside Wall Street hedge funds) possess the right technology to spot these subtle movements before it’s too late.
But over the past 12 months, I have been experimenting with a “data mining” strategy - similar to Dr. Bollen’s.
It tells me when to hop into a trade, hop out, or simply wait on the sidelines.
And though it’s not right 100% of the time, it’s helped me gauge with high confidence whether a currency pair will explode higher or lower - by letting me know if the masses are likely to pile into (or out of) a currency.
I’ve found this technique works very well on major currencies like the Euro and Australian dollar. But it works even better on a tiny corner of the forex market, made up of emerging market currencies.
My Exotic FX Alert subscribers have had the opportunity to benefit from this strategy for months. And we’ve used it to see currencies erupt anywhere from 7% to 132% higher... in as little as two weeks.
If you’d like to hear the full story on how this works, and whether it’s appropriate for you, we’ve recorded a brief tutorial video that explains everything.
I’ll be releasing it later this week. Until then...

The Truth behind Operation Fast & Furious

Operation Fast & Furious -- or as we have been calling it, “Project Gunwalker” -- is becoming a large scandal very fast and most furiously.

One media outlet referred to it yesterday as “worse than Iran-Contra.”

As you know, the anti-gun brass at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) conspired to force gun dealers to sell firearms to criminals who in turn walked those firearms across the border into Mexico and into the hands of dangerous drug gangs.
The BATFE administration blatantly ignored its own agents’ warnings in order to advance their anti-gun political agenda. By sanctioning and encouraging the sale, literally thousands of firearms ended up in the hands of violent Mexican drug cartels .The result?

At least two American law enforcement agents killed, one Mexican military helicopter shot down and over 100 Mexican officers killed or wounded.

That’s not counting the crime that could come in the future.

The BATFE purposefully armed men who are considered by our own Federal law enforcement agents to be more dangerous than al Qaeda.

And now, thanks to thousands of gun owners -- patriots who took action and called their Congressmen -- the anti-gun zealots who run the BATFE are facing a Congressional inquiry.

On Wednesday, after a full day of hearings, the Chairman of the US House of Representatives Oversight and Government Reform Committee had this to say regarding guns going into Mexico:

“Could that be a political decision? Could that be a decision that basically, we just want to substantiate that guns in America go to Mexico…?”

You see what’s going on here.

Let’s retrace the steps:
·  The Obama administration and Hillary Clinton State Department assert that most of the guns used in Mexican crimes come from America, and that in the name of regional stability "more restriction on law-abiding American Firearms owners are needed and the United States must sign on to the United Nations Small Arms Treaty.
·   The BATFE begins investigating this “claim”, and creates a “sting operation” to ensure American guns end up in Mexico. Then they force gun dealers to sell firearms to known criminals who smuggle the guns to violent Mexican drug cartels.
·    Agents on the ground in this investigation said that it was a horrible idea, but the operations were authorized and supported by leading officials in the BATFE and the Justice Department.
The mantra of the anti-gun Left is simple: “never let a crisis go to waste.”
And if there isn’t a convenient crisis, go ahead and make one up.

This is exactly the strategy Obama and his anti-gun allies have been practicing for years.

They will use this “crisis” to ram federal gun control legislation down the throats of American citizens.

But I know you won’t stand for it.

I’m going to remind them every chance I get, and remind them that you are behind me.

 AS A FOOTNOTE
Have you ever seen a bigger abuse of the law by an agency charged with "enforcing" it?

The more I read about the BATFE's outrageous actions during this Project Gunwalker fiasco, the more furious I get...

Did you know that when ATF field agents complained about how dangerous the idea of allowing guns to walk into Mexico was, one supervisor wrote in an email "if you don't think this is fun, you are in the wrong line of work, period!"

"Fun."

Apparently strong-arming law-abiding firearms dealers in America to allow criminals to straw-purchase weapons that would be used later to murder federal agents is "fun" to the ATF chain of command.

When yet another agent warned that this tactic could lead to loss of life, his the ATF boss told him "if you are going to make an omelets, you need to scramble some eggs."

This is what citizens -- and even lower-level federal agents -- are thought to be in the eyes of ATF big wigs: "eggs."

And if there were any doubt about what they were doing, ATF agent John Dodson, testifying before Congress last week, had this to say: "Allowing loads of weapons that we knew to be destined for criminals, this was the plan. It was so mandated.”

Well, in my eyes, the plan is a sick and twisted example of an Agency Gone Wild.
